I am grateful:
1. I have some wonderful tools with which to work creatively.
2. I am blessed with a imaginative mind.
3. My dog, Hope, is a sweet pet.
4. My computer has not crashed in several days.
5. Wrestling is on tonight so Mom has something to enjoy on television.
I hope your day was filled with happiness and creative moments.
Always,
Jo Ann
I miss Border’s too. It was an interesting and relaxing place to go.
The Borders at Arbor Place was my favorite place to hang out. It was not often I went there because every outing became expensive with my buying books, but I loved to spend time there. I miss it a great deal. Borders had a better atmosphere than the Barnes & Nobles I have visited. Everything was laid back, welcoming, and comfortable. I miss the people as well as the store…
There was a wonderful used book store in Hawthorne California I used to frequent (and I mean frequent). Just shelves and shelves and shelves of books in a double-wide storefront and no annoying merchandising/promotions.
Ray that sounds like a great place. I guess remembering Borders fondly is not quite the same, but that had been my bookstore for years. I did not mind the displays, so much, I went to the shelves whenever I wanted something.
