Omnipresent

His great love letters
Chase me through every single
Day of my living,
He writes His sentences on
The fabric of my moments.

Some say they cannot
See my Lord, but His presence
Is apparent to
Me in the noise and silence,
The darkness and brightest light.

I am surrounded
By His vigilance even
When I run away
From His radiant face, no
Place can hide me from His voice.

He seeks me always
Despite my numerous sins,
Jesus does love me
With everlasting passion
Greater than any other.

His love songs follow
Me wherever I wander
I cannot avoid
The words He wishes me to
Listen to and comprehend.

I am grateful:

1.   My alarm woke me at 8:00 this morning and I started my day.
2.   I paid my insurance this morning after holding on the phone for twenty minutes.
3.   I remembered to go to Wells Fargo and withdraw money to give to Mom.
4.   Wal-Mart had my sodas.
5.   $5.00 Footlongs at Subway.

I had an extremely busy Friday. I hope you accomplished all you desired today. Now as the day fades away I encourage you to commit yourself to doing some creative work. It does not have to be great, it does not have to be even good, just get busy and do the work. You can polish and perfect it later.

Reassurance

Absolutely no
Reason to believe there is
Any way to change
The situation without
The help of God Almighty.

He is the only
One who can influence my
Day’s total outcomes,
I call upon Jesus Christ
In all my most humble prayers.

He surely changes
Everything that touches me
For my betterment,
I am never abandoned

I am grateful:

1.   I got some extra rest today.
2.   There were no storms today.
3.   We have a working stove on which to prepare our meals.
4.   We have clean running water for drinking, cooking, bathing, and washing.
5.   Each of us has time in which to accomplish what we choose, if we apply ourselves.

This was a challenging Thursday for me. I hope you overcame all the challenges you faced. Now I challenge you to apply your energy to doing something creative. I know you may feel it is impossible, but I assure you that you can accomplish anything you wish. You have the talent, just put your imagination to work.

I am grateful:

1.   My Droid gets weather alerts.
2.   I got a little extra sleep this morning.
3.   Though the weather was bad all day, we were safe.
4.   My cousin, Tricia, and her family are okay.
5.   For the first time we were invited to come to Linda’s during bad weather.

Transformation

I am not convinced
That I have any answers
To heavy questions
Of living and existence,
But I make the best of it.

I find some great truths
Within the Bible’s story
Of God’s constant work
In redeeming each of us
Through Jesus’s sacrifice.

I believe and am
Convinced there is more than this
Suffering and grind,
There is a reality
Beyond what we envision.

There is a Heaven,
There is Christ my sweet Savior,
There is eternal
Life given freely by grace
To anyone believing.

The beginning of all time
And remains with me

I am grateful:

1.   I made it through the day despite staying up all night.
2.   I was able to communicate with Richard and get his advice.
3.   Hoke and I had some conversations through Facebook chat.
4.   Mom has felt a little better today.
5.   I accomplished a lot and spent some time outside.

I am grateful:

1.   We decided to watch the Royal Rumble last night.
2.   I was able to talk to my friend Dana about the matches.
3.   I now have all the pictures so I can finish the Sweetwater Camera Club page for the CHN&V.
4.   I downloaded some applications for my Droid.
5.   Mom ate well at supper even though she was not feeling well today.

I hope your Monday went well. I accomplished quite a lot. I have taken time to work creatively and so should you. You have so much to share with the world.

I am grateful:

1.   I was able to get up after only four hours of sleep.
2.   I went to Sunday School and Worship Service at my church.
3.   I am learning a lot through our Bible study.
4.   The children sang in the worship service and it was very moving.
5.   I am up to date on all my devotional and Bible reading.

I have had a wonderful Sunday. I found the time spent discussing the full divinity and full humanity of Jesus very enlightening. I hope you have had an enjoyable day. Before you retire this evening exercise your creativity and make something wonderful to share with the world.

1.   I slept very well.
2.   I was able to begin on this month’s Sweetwater Camera Club page for the Chapel Hill News & Views.
3.   Outlook finally began working again after giving problems all day.
4.   Mom is a little better today.

I am grateful:

1.   I was able to catch up my reading overnight.
2.   I found a parking place at the courthouse.
3.   I did not have to stand in line in the tag office.
4.   I took the power of attorney with me so I was able to get Mom’s handicap placard.
5.   I went by the library and picked up some wonderful books after over a year away from the library.

I stayed up all night and then went into town to take care of business today. I was quite busy. I hope you had a productive day as well. You know I believe you can create so get busy and apply some effort to making something wondrous.

I am grateful:

1.   There is an almost infinite supply of reading material in the world.
2.   Because of imagination each of us can produce unique creations.
3.   I know better than to give out personal information to people who call fallaciously.
4.   Even though I did not want to fix it, supper turned out well.
5.   I enjoy writing, and do it with some finesse.

We started out with so much
Less than we have presently.

People are growing
In greater complexity
With each passing day,

I am grateful:

1.   I am caught up with my Bible reading.
2.   I talked to Jeremy today.
3.   I stayed home.
4.   The tractor was picked up for service.
5.   I thought to check Mom’s handicap placard and will be able to renew it before it expires on January 30th.
