I am grateful:

1.   I awoke feeling much more stable than when I went to bed last night.
2.   Leigh called and talked with me a little while.
3.   Linda agreed that I could come to her house and take pictures.
4.   I did some experimenting with ISO.
5.   I took Hope for a walk and found the words I had been searching for all day.

Other than some difficulty with words, my Saturday was wonderful… The words finally arrived, so even that was not a loss. I hope your day was all you hoped it would be. If you have not already, I encourage you to engage your creativity and make a work of artistry. I am quite sure that you are able, if you only make an effort.

I am grateful:

1.   Leigh came and visited with me a little while last night.
2.   Her remarks moved me to get to work.
3.   Mom came to the living room and looked over the pages as I worked on them.
4.   I was able to work out the sizing and placement for the ribbons without too much hassle.
5.   I decided to work on the second page and finished all the layout work this morning.

My Tuesday has been challenging, but rewarding. I hope you also accomplished much today. Now I challenge you to engage your creativity and make something worth sharing with the world. You are so gifted and can no doubt work wonders.

Hold That Jaundiced Outlook

Don’t look at me with
Envious accusing eyes,
I have just as much
A right to express myself
As do you loftier ones.

You may still believe
Your advantages will buy
You a greater share
Of everyone’s attention,
But I own a voice as well.

Keep those unfair thoughts
Within your own shuttered minds,
Without spreading your
Bitterness throughout this our

My experience
Is worthy of chronicling

I am grateful:

1.   I got up in time to go to town today.
2.   The CHN&V magazines were available at the mall.
3.   I had my Droid and was able to call Mom at home.
4.   Wal-Mart still had Easter candy and I was able to get some at half price.
5.   It did not rain on me while I was out.

My Thursday went quite well. I hope your day was pleasurable. If you are not too busy, I recommend you engage your creativity and make something you can share with others. It can be writing, photographs, crafts, art, or anything you can imagine. The point is to use the multitude of talent that lies within you.

I am grateful:

1.   I did not drown when I was learning to water ski.
2.   I regained most of my faculties after a horrible overdose.
3.   I did not die when I tried to kill myself.
4.   Jesus did not count His life to dear to sacrifice for my salvation.
5.   God loves each and every one of us, and wishes none to perish, but all to come to repentance and belief, receiving eternal life.

I am grateful:

1.   I had good dreams as I slept this morning.
2.   Penny has gained one pound.
3.   I was able to reschedule an appointment.
4.   Each day is a learning experience.
5.   There are so many things to do that I am very rarely the least bit bored.

This was a very good Tuesday for me. I hope you enjoyed your day as well. Creativity flourishes when we take time to nurture our imaginations. I do this daily and you should too. Just set aside a few moments to exercise your creative talents. So much can be achieved in your life if you will embrace this practice. You can positively impact the world through your endeavors.

Last night I wanted to clear my sinuses, so I got some Hall’s cough drops out. I noticed there were sayings written on the wrappers. I changed one a bit and used it as my prompt today, now I share it with you: Don’t waste a precious moment… Use this line in a poem, story, or journal entry. I am grateful:

1.   My day was pleasant.
2.   I have a warm comfortable home.
3.   There was hot clean running water for my shower.
4.   I have clean clothes to wear.
5.   My photography class was informative.

I enjoyed my Tuesday and hope you did yours as well. Even though I was quite busy, I made an effort to work creatively. I urge you to do the same. If you do not devote time to your talent you will never realize your potential. The world desperately needs your contribution, so get busy.

I am grateful:

1.   Alarm clocks work.
2.   Mom was able to go to church with me this morning.
3.   We studied the return of Jesus in Sunday School and Worship Service.

I am grateful:

1.   The first thing my Mom said to me this morning was, “Happy Valentine’s Day!”
2.   I am not depressed by not being in a love relationship at this time.
3.   My package arrived in the mail today.
4.   The photographer’s vest is nearly the perfect fit although I was unsure what size to order.
5.   I will not have to worry that my camera battery might go dead anymore, because I now have an extra one.

I had a wonderful Valentine’s Day and I hope you did too. Before you go to bed, engage your imagination in doing something creative. Surely you have some thoughts to share with the world.

I am grateful:

1.   Electronic devices allow me to retain connection to friends and family around the world.
2.   Technology has made great advances in my lifetime.
3.   I remember when communication was more difficult.
4.   I still have the old skills although I have adopted newer ones.
5.   Reading and writing are still prominent.

This Wednesday was a bit of a disappointment because my packages did not arrive, but it ended well. I hope your day was rewarding and you accomplished much of what you wished. I am grateful:

1.   There is an almost infinite supply of reading material in the world.
2.   Because of imagination each of us can produce unique creations.
3.   I know better than to give out personal information to people who call fallaciously.
4.   Even though I did not want to fix it, supper turned out well.
5.   I enjoy writing, and do it with some finesse.
