I am grateful:

1.   I got an email with a code for 20% off Nike clearance items.
2.   My prescriptions were filled with no problem.
3.   I bought some Krispy Kreme doughnuts at Wal-Mart.
4.   I ate Cream of Asparagus soup for supper, which was a real treat.
5.   I am going to take the Photography 2 Class, which should help me improve my photography even more.

I had a very good Thursday and hope you did as well. Before you put this day to rest, engage your imagination and create something to share with the world. You have the ability, have confidence in yourself.

Journal entry:

Thoughts

I am wondering
Why no one ever mentioned
That there possibly
Could be detrimental side
Effects to my prescriptions.

I thought these drugs were
Kinder, gentler than those of
Past generations,
I was hopeful that they were
Safer for my long term use.

If the disease does
Not get me through suicide,
I guess the meds will
Through their slow destruction of
My body’s physical health.

I am not going
To let it constantly haunt
Me with its looming
Inevitable ending,
I surrender to God’s hands.

I have been letting
Him carry me the longest
Time and now is not
The point to lose faith in God’s
Ability to preserve.

I am grateful:

1.   My appointment was in the afternoon.
2.   Mom went with me.
3.   My Droid was not broken, just turned off and there was operator error.
4.   I liked Debbie, the new nurse practitioner.
5.   I do not have to go back for six months.

I had a pleasant Wednesday. I did not have to wait as long as usual for my appointment. I hope your day went equally well. Turn your mind to doing something creative now. The present moment can be best used instead of procrastinating. Your imagination simply awaits exercise.

I am grateful:

1.   I woke up quite early this morning.
2.   There was hot water for my shower.
3.   Mom allowed me to drive the truck to the New Douglasville Conference Center.
4.   I used my fisheye lens today.
5.   The new home of the Sweetwater Camera Club meetings is stunning.

Now Hidden

I see a shadow
Of your presence, your handsome
Face a bit beyond
The reach of my outstretched hands,
I know you will come forward.

I believe we will
Make a much better future

Possible when finally
We do meet one another.

I am grateful:

1.   I do not have a huge bruise on my right side.
2.   The shoes Mom gave me were comfortable today.
3.   We had no emergency in which we needed my Droid.
4.   Mom went to church with me though she had very little sleep.
5.   The smoothies I made turned out well.

I had a beautiful Sunday that started a bit calamitously, but then turned out extremely well. I even saw snowflakes. I hope your day was gloriously happy. Now, before you turn your back on this day engage your imagination and create something wondrous. You have the talent to achieve all you dream possible, just believe in your ability.

I am grateful:

1.   I woke up early this morning.
2.   I was able to return the Ensure even though I could not find the receipt.
3.   Sam’s Club had the fruit and protein I needed to make smoothies for Mom.
4.   I decided to bring Mom a bouquet of flowers and she was very happy.
5.   I fixed a delicious supper with Mom’s help.

My Saturday has been busy and enjoyable. I hope your day has been good. I found time, although a bit late, to work creatively and so should you. I am sure you can do as well as I have, just make an effort.

I am grateful:

1.   Mom has been pleasant today.
2.   We had our meeting with the nutritionist.
3.   The things I have been feeding Mom are mostly good.
4.   We met at the library and I was able to check out some awesome novels.
5.   I managed to write a journal entry and poem tonight despite feeling less than inspired.

I am grateful:

1.   Hope is my puppy dog and does not hold grudges against me.
2.   God loves me in spite of my faults.
3.   I was able to do some shopping today so I will not have to go out tomorrow.
4.   Wal-Mart had Cream of Asparagus Soup and I bought three cans.
5.   Reba called me this evening and will be in our area during March, so we might see each other.

I am grateful:

1.   I did not drown when I was learning to water ski.
2.   I regained most of my faculties after a horrible overdose.
3.   I did not die when I tried to kill myself.
4.   Jesus did not count His life to dear to sacrifice for my salvation.
5.   God loves each and every one of us, and wishes none to perish, but all to come to repentance and belief, receiving eternal life.

I am grateful:

1.   I had good dreams as I slept this morning.
2.   Penny has gained one pound.
3.   I was able to reschedule an appointment.
4.   Each day is a learning experience.
5.   There are so many things to do that I am very rarely the least bit bored.

This was a very good Tuesday for me. I hope you enjoyed your day as well. Creativity flourishes when we take time to nurture our imaginations. I do this daily and you should too. Just set aside a few moments to exercise your creative talents. So much can be achieved in your life if you will embrace this practice. You can positively impact the world through your endeavors.

Last night I wanted to clear my sinuses, so I got some Hall’s cough drops out. I noticed there were sayings written on the wrappers. I changed one a bit and used it as my prompt today, now I share it with you: Don’t waste a precious moment… Use this line in a poem, story, or journal entry.
