In Media Rests
“Things are worse than you
Imagined, but better than
They seem,” or so they
Tell you every day when you
Turn on your picture machine.
“So many things going
Wrong at an incredible
Rate, but hang in there
An upturn is just around
The corner,” they inform you.
“The economy
Is getting better, but no
It is getting worse,”
They cannot seem to decide;
There is no one you can trust.
“The government cares
About your plight, but sorry you
Do not qualify
For any kind of extra
Help,” they tell you with a smile.
“Keep doing your best,
You will finally get rest
When others are blessed
With their full measure of your
Happiness,” they but confess.

It’s wonderful that you can find the enthusiasm to blog every day and share so much of yourself. I am impressed. Have a wonderful evening.
Ah Laura, I don’t know how much enthusiasm is involved. Some days I can think of other things that I would like to do instead, but I have made a commitment to this project and that keeps me going. It is rather surprising to me that I keep writing… especially when I have absolutely nothing in mind about which to write. You all are awfully kind to keep reading my prattle.
Hey Jo Ann congratulations on number of followers. Its always fun to see who reads your blogs isn’t it? I enjoy reading yours. I write about everything and some times i wonder if it even interesting to others or not.
Katie, I am hoping to hit 100 in a day or two. I think publicize shows in my totals, but real followers of the blog are near 100.
I am glad you enjoy reading my blog. I pretty much write about everything too. I sometimes wonder if others enjoy my stuff too.
